An Anna Everson was born in St. Louis County on March 26, 1888 (birth certificate #130).
According to the March 12, 1908, edition of the Duluth Herald: Everett Mackaman and Miss Annie Everson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ever Everson of Cedar Lake, were married at the home of the bride’s parents at 7:30 o’clock Saturday evening, Rev. M. O. Stockland performing the ceremony. Only the families and close friends were present. The couple were attended by Miss Lela Mackaman, the groom’s sister, and J.P. Rock of Duluth. Both the bride and her maid were gowned in white silk. Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson and Ever Everson Jr. and bride of Duluth were among the guests, and not until after the ceremony was it made known that the young people from Duluth had been married in that city on Thursday. A lunch was served with a shower of gifts and kind wishes.

She was still in Aitkin in 1967, the time of her brother Iver’s death.
Her last residence, according the SSDI, was Rohnert Park, Sonoma County. Her daughter Dorothy lived in Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, in the late 1960s.

In the 1940 census, she is the 60 year-old widow Nellie T Pederson and lives with her daughter and son-in-law in Vancouver, Washington. Five years earlier, she had lived in Minneapolis.
Her son Norman was the informant for her death certificate. He had no idea who her parents were. Nellie died of a heart attack.

Lars Erick Anselm ROSEN Of Seattle passed away Nov. 26th, 2003 at age 91 after a long fight with cancer. Born April 21st, 1912 to Olaf and Ida Rosen in Dubuque, Saskatchewan. The family moved to Washington State in 1929 and he became a U.S. citizen in 1943. He was a loyal employee of U.S. Plywood and Champion Building Products for 37 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and also working with his hands. He is survived by his four children, Marlene, Hana, Gary and Jeff; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews and his sister, Christine Englund. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion of 29 years; brothers, Paul, Nels, Walter, Hans, Art and sisters, Martha and Hilder. Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Dec. 6th, 2003 at Crownhill Cemetery. He was a loving husband and father, he will be sorely missed by all who knew him. In the 1940 census, an Ardell Quale, age 23 and unmarried, lived in Minneapolis and worked as a domestic.
Ardel Luvella Breese, 96, of Arlington Heights, Illinois, formerly of South Beloit, Illinois, died on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Church Creek Nursing Home in Arlington Heights. Ardel was born on June 16, 1916 in Swift County, Minnesota the daughter of Ove and Lena (Ostgulen) Quale. In 1933, she graduated from Benson High School in Minnesota and then attended the Minneapolis Business College. Ardel married Robert W. Dick on November 21, 1942. He was killed in Normandy, France on July 13, 1944 while serving as a medical in the United States Army. Ardel enlisted in the Women's Army Corps on September 23, 1944 and served as a nurses aid until January 26, 1946. She married Claude J. Breese on January 1, 1946 in Oak Lawn, Illinois. He died on September 24, 2000. Over the years, Ardel had numerous part-time jobs as waitress, store clerk, secretary, and nurses aid. Mostly she enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her children. She enjoyed taking family vacations, and camping. Ardel is survived by her daughter, Jenanne (Richard) Brown of Peoria, Arizona, son, Richard J. (Sue) Breese of Palatine, Illinois, five grandchildren, Dean (Marcia) Brown, Dan (Karen) Brown, Jim (Becky) Brown, Meredeth (Patrick) Duggan, and Steve (Sherri) Breese, eleven great grandchildren, Luke and Andrew Brown, Ian Brown, Caleb, Peter, Kassy, Manny, Ruthie, and Rachel Brown, and Ryan and Brady Duggan. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Mildred, Opal, and Norma, and three brothers, Durward, Orville, and Norine. | QVALE, Ardel (I17825)
