Both of her parents were born in Germany.
We don’t know who this Anna’s parents were. According to the 1910 census, Anna, the wife of Albert Bloch, had a sister, Martha, born in Nebraska in about 1897 because Martha Rachuy, 13, “sister-in-law” was living with the Blochs in Murray County in that census. That’s all we know about Anna’s family. Anna is called “Anna Bertha” in an Ancestry World Tree source, which gives her birth date as 19 Jun 1888 and her birth place as Nebraska. She married Albert William Bloch on 26 Sep 1907. However, that World Tree source does not show Anna’s parents.
By the terms of the 1900 census, Anna Rachuy Bloch’s parents could not have been Fredrick and Augusta Rachuy of Cottonwood County, Minnesota. Fredrick and Augusta Rachuy of Cottonwood County had daughters Anna and Martha. However, their daughter Anna Marie who was born in Rose Hill Twp, Cottonwood County, Minnesota, on 13 Mar 1900 according to FamilySearch. The younger Anna’s sister Martha was also born in about 1897 but in Minnesota, not Nebraska.
Nevertheless, it seems likely that the Anna Rachuy who married Albert Bloch was related to the Rachuys of Cottonwood County but the nature of that relationship is not discernible from the records.
The wife of Albert Bloch is called “Annah” in the 1910 census.
