Born as William Rinn. The Social Security Claims Index says he was born at Fort Snelling.

In the 1950 census, he is listed apart from his parents, apparently correcting an oversight. He seems to be listed twice. He is listed as William J Rinn, 7, with his grandparents, Arno and Alma Jenner, in Nerstrand.

The SS Claims Index says he was William Jenner Rinn in 1967 with his name changed to William Jenner Ellingboe in July of 1998.

Of Fountain Valley, California, at the time of his parents’ deaths in 1979.

He was probably the Bill Ellingboe, sales manager for Hardin/Sea Ray in Lido Isle near Los Angeles.

Born at Børhus, a husmanns plass under Tørpe I. In the 1801 census she is listed as a servant girl on the Sønderohl farm, 16 years old, unmarried. On p. 66 of Vang B, she is listed as dying in 1832, but on p. 482 she is listed as having died in 1807. In church book, her death is 1807. This conflict in apparent “facts” is unresolved.

The daughter Kirsti, listed in Vang B, p. 66, as having been born in 1810, might be the daughter of her widowed husband's second marriage (?).
