Han var stadig i pengemangel og lånte store summer av sokneprest Castberg, Nils H Ellingbø, Jon E Kattevold og Øystein A Bø. Han måtte tilslutt selge Baggetun til sin svoger Torkjell T Gåsedelen i 1756. Han holdt igjen plassen Grøv og litt til fo r sin og konas levetid. Oldefaren var presten Colding. Jon var gift andre gang med Sigrid T Gåsedelen (1711-1767) de hadde mange barn men jeg har ikke funnet etterkommere etter dem.

Jon Vilhelmsen Baggethun var født, i 1706, og han blev gift med Ambjørg Torsteinsdatter Kvam, født 1693. De hadde to barn: Torstein, født 1725 og død i 1754, samt Vilhelm. While serving in a tank regiment of the Calgary Regiment of the Canadian Army, he was wounded in action on June 30, 1944, as part of the invasion of Sicily. Survivors were his wife, parents, 3 sisters (Olga, Emily and Norma) and 4 brothers (Julius of the U.S. Army, Clarence with the Canadian Army, Alden, with the RCAF, and Lawrence of the RCAF).

Funeral services for Andrew Rudy of Forest township will be held at the Bierman Mortuary in Northfield at 2:00 o'clock Monday afternoon, June 16, and at 3:00 o'clock at the Trondjem church. Interment will be made in the cemetery there. Mr. Rudy passed away on Thursday, June 12, at the age of 67 years having been born in Norway on September 6, 1873. Coming to the United States while quite young, Mr. Rudy had lived in Webster and Forest townships for many years where he was engaged in farming. His wife had preceded him in death. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Arthur Demann (Florence) of the Dundas community and a brother and two sisters, Knute Rudy of Northfield, route 3, and Mrs. Mary Camp of Northfield and Mrs. Anna Clark of Everett, Wash.
