Our Dad, Raymond Deml, joined Mom in heaven, Saturday, March 18th, at Mayo Health System of La Crosse, Wis. He was born January 31, 1925, in Vernon County to John and Lotus (Schubert) Deml. Dad was baptized at St. Charles Catholic Church, Genoa, Wis. He attended Holy Trinity and Aquinas schools in La Crosse.
Dad was a veteran of WWII having served in the Marine Corps in the South Pacific. Following his service, he attended Bradley University in Peoria, Ill.
On November 5, 1955, Dad married the love of his life, our Mom, Arlene (Sime) Lowell. At this time, they became an instant family of 5. They raised the first 3 of us along with the second batch of 3 children in Chipmunk Coulee, rural La Crosse. Mom and Dad enjoyed their life there for 33 years, before moving to La Crosse. They also loved camping and traveling to Arizona. Dad enjoyed the Packers, Badgers, carving, reading, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends. He loved sharing his knowledge with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Dad retired from the Milwaukee Road/Soo Line railroad after 30 years of service. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church and the Stoddard American Legion.
Dad is survived by two daughters, Mary (John) Huntington of Marion, Iowa, Nancy (Donald Schmidt) Pradovic of West Salem, Wis.; two sons, Michael (Mary Lou Bartoletti) Lowell of Green Bay, Wis., and Timothy (Kathy) Deml of Rapid City, S. Dak.; two daughters-in-law, Lori Lowell of La Crosse and Jean Lowell of West Bend; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lavon Brague of La Crosse and Mona (Tony) Colera of San Diego, Cal.; seven brothers, Robert of La Crosse, Norman (Janice) of La Crosse, Richard (Janis) of Onalaska, Donald (Mardi) of La Crosse, Earl of Tampa, Fla., Carl (Farrel) of West Salem, and Gorden (Bonnie) of La Crosse; along with a host of nieces and nephews. Vincent "Vince"Leroy Kilde, 71, Beulah, entered into his Lord's eternal kingdom Jan. 28, 2009, at St. Joseph's Hospital, St. Paul, Minn., of complications from surgery. Services will be held at 10 a.m. MST Monday, Feb. 2, at Immanuel Baptist Church, Beulah, with the Revs. Allan Gerber and Bob Pittman officiating. Burial will be held at 3 p.m. CST in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. MST Sunday at Seibel Funeral Home, Beulah.
Vince was born Sept. 25, 1937, to Samuel and Edna (Anderson) Kilde. He spent his childhood in Fergus Falls, Minn., where he was confirmed and graduated from high school. As a young man, Vince owned his own business as a plastering, drywall and stucco contractor, where he remained for many years sharing his talents.
Vince began his military career in 1954, when he enlisted in the Army Reserve in Minnesota. He proudly served his country for 22 years and retired from the North Dakota National Guard in 1987. In 1966, Vince met, fell in love and married his wife and best friend of 42 years, Sandra. Together they parented seven children, which were his pride and joy. In 1982, he moved his family to Hazen, where he worked at Basin Electric until his retirement in 1999.
Vince enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, yard work, traveling and spending every day with his wife and family. He will be remembered for his big genuine smile, loud true laughter, easy-going nature and for being a friend to all.
Fortunate to have shared his life are his wife and soul mate, Sandra; his children, Teresa Carrigan, Bismarck, Bradley Kilde and his wife, Kristi, Glen Ullin, Lisa Layton and her husband, William, Hazen, Steven Kilde and his wife, Melissa, Bismarck, Stacee McLaughlin and her husband, Curtis, Beulah, Jodi Hales and her husband, Danny, Supply, N.C., and Jason Kilde and his wife, Hollee, St. Cloud, Minn. Vince adored and cherished his many grandchildren, Brandon Carrigan, Anthony Kilde and his wife, Sheena, Stephanie Kilde, Jayden and Autumn Hurley, Dawson and Adrianna Layton, Logan, Parker and Madison Kilde, Samantha, Colton and Mariah McLaughlin and his newest ray of sunshine, Natalee Kilde. Vince also leaves a daughter from a previous marriage, Cindy Barry, Wisconsin; his grandchildren James, Michael, and Joseph Hilligas; one great-granddaughter, Jazmine Hilligas; and his brother, Vernon, California. Also missing him will be his trusted four-legged friend, Pugsley.
He joins in heaven his father, Sam; his mother, Edna; and his sister, Yvonne.

Robert E. Dieseth, 80, of Urbandale, IA, formerly of Fergus Falls, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2007, in Iowa.
Bob was born on Jan. 4, 1927, in Fergus Falls to John and Ellen (Saxhaug) Dieseth. He graduated from Luther College in 1949, married Avis Gilberts and returned to Fergus in 1952. He worked in his father’s company, the John Dieseth Company, until his father retired. He then started his own company, Dieseth Specialty Company, which he ran until his own retirement in 1988.
Bob was a member of the Fergus Falls School Board and City Council, and was a long time member and former president of Fergus’s Kiwanis Club. A faithful supporter of Luther College, Bob served as a member and chairman of Luther’s Board of Regents and was presented with Luther’s Distinguished Service Award in 1999.
Bob was an active member of First Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls, participating in many different ministries, including church council, Sunday school, building committee and church foundation.
In 2003, Bob and Avis moved to The Reserve in Urbandale, IA, to be closer to their son John and his family. Bob and Avis became active members of St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Urbandale, where Bob served as chairman of the St. Stephen Lutheran Church Trust Fund.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Avis; two sons: John (Jane) Dieseth of Urbandale, IA, and Paul (Susan) Dieseth of Burnsville; three grandchildren: Christopher, Elizabeth and Anne; sister, Joanne Smith; brother-in-law Dennis (Noreen) Gilberts; three nephews; one niece; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter.
Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the church
