The household consists of Richard, 23, a laborer at an asbestos or furnace company, Gladys, 22, a manager of a laundry, Katherine Merrill, his 72 year-old grandmother, Ray Nelson, his 23 year-old brother-in-law, salesman of men’s clothing in a retail store, and a 22 year-old boarder named Alvin Broksick who is a printer in a leather goods business.

According to Bonnie, from an undated, unspecified news account: PFC Richard C Fautch, 3245 41st Ave S, has been decorated with the bronze star for heroic action in Belgium when he stood his ground in the face of an enemy counter-attack. He directed effective rocket and rifle fire against the foe and after expending his ammunition employed hand grenades to help repulse the assault.

In the 1948 Minneapolis city directory, he is an inventory crew captain for National Tea. He lives at 2117 E 86th. According to the Hennepin County tax records, Dick and Barb’s house at 2117 E 86th was built in 1944.

The Dane County coroner ruled his death (by drowning in Lake Monona) as a suicide because of ill health. He had threatened suicide by drowning and carried out his threat by walking into the lake two blocks from his home.

At the time of Mimi’s marriage, he and is wife were “of Santa Barbara, California, and Hallock, Minnesota.”

He lived in Santa Barbara, California, in 1962.

Jerry Lee Williams, age 74, of Bellingham passed away in Bellingham Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015.  He was born Dec. 28, 1940 in Eminence, Missouri to Emitt Dolphous and Vivian Juanita (Curd) Williams.  Jerry graduated from Concrete High School in the class of 1959, and in 1960 married Joyce Ellingboe in Newhalem, WA.  He worked for Seattle City Light in the towns of Newhalem and Diablo.  He moved the family too Ferndale in 1972 after being hired as an Operator for the Atlantic Richfield Refinery where he worked until his retirement in 1995.  Jerry enjoyed hunting with his friends and family and telling stories around a campfire or anywhere else. He also enjoyed Horseracing, Slot Machines and Pull Tabs with a good beer.  Jerry battled Diabetes and Parkinson’s for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Gary Williams of Naselle, WA. He is survived by his wife Joyce of 55 years; daughters, Tracy Crank (Vern) of Blaine, Heidi Summers (Greg) of Bellingham, Becky Stack (Rob) of Ferndale; son, Chris Williams (Dionne) of Nooksack; grandchildren, Corey Williams, Blake Williams, and granddaughter, Willa Crank; step grandchildren, Joel and Jordan Summers, Courtney, Brenden and Karrisa Stack; brother, Ricky Williams of Naselle, WA.; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
