In the 1860 census, he is Thomas Simeson, 66. He and his wife Martha, 68, live on th farm of their son Simeon Tompson, a 30 year-old farmer in Bristol Twp, Worth County, Iowa. Simeon’s wife is Isabelle, 30, and their children are Andrew, 9, Isabelle, 6, Thomas, 4. Ole, 3, and Martha, 6 months. Everyon in the household was born in Norway except little Martha, who was born in Iowa.
