| 21681 | Torger Evensen Vindingstad had two sons named John or Jon: one born in 1750 and one born in 1757. There are two opinions as to which of the two was the husband of Ragnhild Knudsdatter Alfstad. Jim picks the younger one and has him as I6952 in his Valdres Slekt. He calls him Jon Torgeirson Windingstad and has him born 26 Aug 1757 on Windingstad 33/5 Nedre in Øystre Slidre. dwfrench1 picks the older one, Jon Torgersen Jonsrud, 31 Aug 1750 to 15 Jul 1820. It looks like Jim was wrong. The 1801 census shows the husband of Ragnil Knudsdatter to be Joen Torgersen, b. 1750. The couple lived on Jørstad Nordre. | JONSRUD, Jon Torgersen (I43239)
