The Bismarck paper said he lived in Wahpeton. He was the driver of a semi truck that collided with a car at about 2:30 pm on June 14th on U.S. Highway 2 near Erskine, Minnesota. The car was crossing the highway from a rest area when it was struck by the semi. The impact flipped the truck and it caught on fire. Aldon, the truck driver, and the two people in the car were dead at the scene. The semi truck was carrying a load of hot tar.
