With Shirley being born and raised living on farms, on the prairies, she learned to work hard and valued that throughout her life. She had a real strength of character and strong endurance to life. She was forever positive, wore her heart on her sleeve, and her resiliency was remarkable. Shirley was kind, loving, devoted, and very family oriented. She was a real people person, truly a “social butterfly “, she made friends everywhere she went and literally talked to everyone. The butterfly balloon she received from one of her best friends in her final days was very fitting.
When Shirley made friends, you were a friend for life. She valued social settings whether it was playing cards, family gatherings, or singing in a choir and she was always fun-loving. Shirley was quick to laugh with her unforgettable laugh and had a great sense of humour even during difficult times. She was immensely proud of her family and friends, and leaves behind nothing but special memories. | WHITE, Shirley (I36485)
