Eddith Burdick, 91, of Denver, Colo., died Sept. 11, 2000, at Denver.

Mrs. Burdick's body was cremated. Burial was at the Olsen Family Plot at Albaton Cemetery at Sloan, Iowa. The Horan and McConaty Funeral Home of Denver was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Burdick was born Dec. 26, 1908, at Whiting, Iowa. She married Roger Burdick on July 6, 1955. They were divorced in October 1979. She had worked as an accountant and bookkeeper.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Denver. Survivors include one sister, E. Corrinne Patrick of Denver. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Edith M. DeLashmutt of Onawa, Iowa.

In the 1940 census, she is shown as age 62 but born in South Dakota. She and Jens and their son Hartman live in La Habra, California.

Funeral services were held at the Vang Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 22, 1967 for Gilma E. Underdahl, with the Rev. John E. Fahning officiating. A hymn was sung by the congregation, and Mrs. James Johnson sang two vocal selections. Mrs. Cyrus Midge presided at the organ. Six grandsons: Paul Wardell, James Johnson, Gary Wardell, Thomas Johnson, John Rodde and Alfred Brandvold, Jr., served as pallbearers. Interment took place in the Vang Cemetery. Gilma E. Underdahl passed away Wednesday morning, Oct. 18, at the Kenyon Sunset Home at the age of 71 years. The daughter of Johannes and Marit Lein Kasa, she was born May 21, 1896, in Warsaw township, Goodhue County. She was baptized June 28, 1896, in Vang Lutheran Church and confirmed on November 20, 1910, by the late Rev. A. Hauge. June 9, 1915, she was united in marriage to John A. Underdahl. They have seven children, two sons: Peter of Kenyon and Leroy of Dennison; five daughters: Clarabelle (Mrs. Alfred Brandvold), Marian (Mrs. Albion Rodde) both of Kenyon, Agnes (Mrs Arlie Johnson), Joyce (Mrs Truman Skaro) both of Dennison and Gladys (Mrs. Roland Wardell) of Minneapolis. She is survived by her seven children, twenty-five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Betsy Dalbotten of Kenyon. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, Her parents, one sister and two brothers, one of whom died in infancy.

She was Mrs. L.L. Schnetzler of Hotel Kabetogama in Ray, Minnesota, in 1945, as shown on her son’s (John P. Scholl, b. June 11, 1920, in Illinois) draft registration. Ray is in Koochiching County, southeast of International Falls.

As Pearl A Scholl, she married somebody (the record doesn’t say) in Brooklyn, New York, on May 17, 1948.

She was Pearl Schmetzler at the time she married Iver Everson.

She is called Pearl A Everson in various Santa Cruz city directories.

SSDI shows her last residence as Minneapolis.

She seems to be the woman in the 1930 census as Pearl A Scholl, 28, divorced, “daughter”, living with her mother Emma E Scholl, and, presumably, her son, 9 year-old Peter Latsis whose father was Greek.

The Cook County birth certificates show the registration of a Peter John Latsis, b. 11 Jun 1920 to Pearl School and John Peter Latsis.

Her mother was Emma Knoepfle born about 1873.
