Dorothy Morris, 87, passed away Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010 at Sunrise Rehab and Care Center in Nebo. She was born June 14, 1923 in Hennepin, County, Minn. to the late Harry Duffy and Ida Janish Duffy. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marion. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy David Morris; and a son, Brian Svac; and several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Morris is survived by two sons, David Morris, wife Susan, of Marion, Roy David Morris, Jr., of Miami, Fla.; three daughters, Mary Morris of Marion, Sherry Morris of Statesville and Linda Fox of Indiana; two brothers, Leonard Duffy, wife Sharron, of Montana, George Duffy of Minneapolis, Minn.; five sisters, Anna McGraw, husband Gene, June Twate, husband Dave, Gladys Lein, Ida Mae Cresel, and Doris Duffy, all of Minneapolis, Minn.; and two granddaughters, Samantha and Emily Morris. The graveside service will be held at noon today Aug. 3, 2010 at Barnes Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the graveside service at Kirksey Funeral Home, Marion. Sorensen of Aitkin Two daughters and sons-in-law: Sandra (Robert) DeLoach of Aitkin Linda (Peter) Cordes of Aitkin 1 brother and sister-in-law: Leonard (Sharon) Duffy of Stevensville, MT. One sister and brother-in-law: Anna (Jean) McGraw of Bloomington 8 grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren Many other relatives and friends.
