Elsie Jane Krupsky, 95 of Fullerton, ND died April 1, 2018 at Oakes Community Hospital, Oakes, ND. A memorial service will be held 2pm Sunday, April 22 at New Life Assembly of God Church, formerly the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 720 3rd Ave. N, Ellendale, ND. Arrangements by Hoven Funeral Chapel, Ellendale.
Elsie was born September 7, 1922 to Harry and Mary (Poleshuk) Boyko at Greatstone, ND. Elsie attended country school and helped her mother with the younger children and household chores. Elsie married Curtis Haugen in 1940. With this union their three children Carolyn, Gary and Deanna were born. After their divorce, Elsie married Stanley Krupsky Jr. on November 19, 1950. To this union was born Connie, Bonnie and Nancy. They made their home on a farm in the Butte, ND area. In the fall of 1958, they purchased a farm one mile south of Fullerton where they farmed and raised their family. It was Elsie’s home for 60 years. Later she worked at Oakes Good Samaritan Center for about 12 years. She helped on the farm mainly milking cows. She also tended a large garden and canned much of her produce. She was a member of the Ellendale Seventh Day Adventist Church. Elsie enjoyed crocheting, sewing, gardening and traveling. Elsie is survived by four daughters: Deanna (Larry) Bird, Colonial Beach, VA, Connie (Marvin) Teske, Ellendale, ND, Bonnie Hopkins, Fullerton, ND, Nancy Krupsky, Oakes, ND; 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren with one on the way; sister: Jeanette Martin, Minot, ND; brother: Maynard (Della Mae) Boyko, Turtle Lake, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, two children: Gary and Carolyn; three brothers and two sisters. | BOYKO, Elsie Jane (I29381)
