17568 Sharon J. Sharp, age 66, of Janesville, a mom that always cared, a grandma that always was there, and a great-grandma who will always be there looking down on all of us, died Saturday, July 16, 2011, at home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Ontario, Wisconsin, on February 10, 1945, the daughter of Howard and Emma Alberta (Lombard) Sullivan. Sharon attended Sparta High School, but has been a Janesville resident most of her adult life. She married Eugene E. Erickson and later married Roger Allen Sharp on June 17, 1972; he preceded her in death on February 25, 1994. Sharon worked for JCPenney, the Boston Store, and Senior Services of Rock County. Sharon also managed the VFW Club for many years. She was a member of Faith Community Church. She enjoyed bingo, her many trips to Las Vegas, fishing, and most of all cooking for family and friends. Sharon is survived by her two daughters, Lori Knapp and Deborah Messner, both of Janesville; a stepson, Shawn (Barbara) Sharp of Janesville; seven grandchildren: Ashley, Angie, Brittany, Bryan, Brock, Nicholas, and Nathan; two great grandchildren, Kiley and Rowan; a sister, Bernadine Hutchens of Ontario, WI; a sister-in-law, Elaine Sullivan of Quinnesec, MI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and longtime companion, Richard Heinert of Janesville. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roger; a brother, John Sullivan; and a brother-in-law, Harry Downing. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at FAITH COMMUNITY CHURCH, Janesville, with Rev. Jerry Dean officiating. Burial will be at Milton Lawns Memorial Park, Janesville. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the CHURCH. 17569 Sharon K. Gronoski, 81, of Evansdale, died Thursday, December 8, 2022, at UnityPoint Health - Allen Hospital , Waterloo.

She was born May 25, 1941, in Waterloo, daughter of Otis L. and Helen C. Bassett Lowder. Sharon graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1959. She attended Young's Beauty School and then earned her LPN from Hawkeye Tech.

Sharon was married to Don Williams for 19 years; they divorced. She then married Jerry Gronoski on May 28, 1988, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Evansdale.

She was an instructor at Young's Beauty School. After she earned LPN, she practiced nursing for many years in La Porte City, Reinbeck, and eventually Country View. After she retired from nursing, she drove school bus for Waterloo Schools.

She was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Waterloo, and was active in Bible Study and the pastoral search committee. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting, computer games, shopping. She also loved animals and had many beloved pets over the years.

Survived by: her husband of Evansdale; daughter, Lori (Terry) Dawes of Waterloo; son, Brian Williams of Washburn; three stepdaughters, Connie Henricks of Waterloo, Viki Fehr of Clutier, and Kellie (Mike) Jacobson of Hiawatha; stepson, Jerry Gronoski, Jr. of Waterloo; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Preceded by: her parents; son, Robie Lowder; three sisters, Alice Schultz, Donna Parker, and Marian Regenold.; and an infant brother.

17570 Sharon M. Nevins, age 72, of Camdenton, passed away Friday, September 13, 2013, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach. She was born April 13, 1941, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a daughter of the late Raymond and Mildred Hansen Reardon.

On November 17, 1962, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, she was united in marriage to James P. Nevins, who survives the home.

Sharon retired from Macon Resources in Decatur, Illinois, as a registered nurse.

She was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Laurie, where she had been active in the St. Vincent DePaul Society and also volunteered with Bible school. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi, volunteering to deliver food to needy families during the holidays. Sharon was also a member of Newcomers and the Lake Bloomers Garden Club.

Sharon loved living at the lake and always kept herself busy. She enjoyed gardening and entering her homegrown plants and flowers in the Missouri State Fair, which garnered several awards.

In addition to her husband, Jim, she is survived by her son, Brett Nevins of Camdenton, Missouri; daughter, Amy Rainey and husband Tracy of Alton, Illinois; five grandchildren, Brandon and Cameron Rainey and Erika, Kayla and Miya Nevins; her sister, Susan Reardon of Asheville, North Carolina; and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kelli Susan Nevins on September 23, 2012.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 18th, at the St. Patrick Catholic Church with Celebrants Father C.D. "Bo" Ryan and Father Jason Doke officiating. Graveside services and interment will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, at the church. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association, 2400 Bluff Creek Drive, Columbia, Missouri 65201.
