Ray says, [Carl] “and his mother Anna also came to Ellis Island from Oslo (Kristiania at the time) on the Bergensfjord, some 3 years earlier. They also spent time in Stockholm with relatives before taking the train (assumed) to Oslo. They left Oslo on July 22,1914 and arrived at Ellis Island on Aug. 3, 1914. There is no record of them stopping in Halifax on the way. My father remembered taking a train to Seattle via Chicago.” | NYGREN, Carl P (I28540)
