Loving grandfather of Joanne and Erik Odden, Pamela (Michael) Johnson, great grandfather of Anders Odden, Carter and Sophia Johnson. Lester was a veteran of the Western World War II Theater and served in the Army Signal Corps. Lester was a long term electrician for the Minneapolis Public Schools. Lester was preceded in death by his loving parents Frances and Clem Schmitz, brothers Duke and Gordon and sister Vera Madden. Funeral services for Lester will be held on Monday, December 27, 2010, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1600 N. Genesee Street, Delafield, WI 53018 at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until time of service. Interment will take place at Crystal Lake Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. In the 1900 census, she was Lulu Brekke, a 24 year-old school teacher in Nogosek Twp, Stutsman County, North Dakota.

In the 1910 census, she was Louiza Brekke, age 28, a school teacher in Shoshone County, Idaho.

In the 1920 census, she lived in Berkeley, California and was a private school teacher. She was erroneously shown as 35 years old.

17219 Scott Allen Quale, age 65, of Cambridge, MN, passed away on Saturday, March 12th. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.

Scott was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Glen and Betty Quale. The family moved to Dalbo, Minnesota, during Scott’s later grade school years where they began a dairy farm. He was the second of five boys. Scott and his brothers helped their dad with the milking every morning and evening. Scott graduated from Princeton High School in 1975. Scott was married in 1978 to Vicky Swanson at Salem Lutheran church in Dalbo. In July of 1978 he and Vicki lost their first two babies. This was devastating to them both. They later had two more children whom they raised together.

Scott worked at Federal Cartridge in Anoka for many years and then began working as a nursing assistant working with seniors and Alzheimers patients. Scott had a love for horses. He began showing Arabian horses first as a hobby then as an amateur handler. He even showed and trained professionally for a short time. Scott was later divorced. He moved to Minneapolis and worked for the State of Minnesota as a Behavioral Support Analyst, where he worked until retirement. Scott enjoyed being with animals his whole life. He loved working, training and showing horses and later training and showing his cocker spaniel. He also took up 2 step dancing and loved it and enjoyed playing the game of Cricket. Scott loved his Children and his grandchildren very much and enjoyed spending every minute he could with them. In his own words "They make my life complete".

Scott will be dearly missed by his daughter, Amanda Quale of Winter Wisconsin; son, Jeff (Monica Moore) Quale of Brook Park; grandchildren Noelle, Grace, Ethan, Avia, Alaina, Andrew, Emma and Sam; brothers Craig (Sandy) Quale of Dalbo; Todd (Michele Micheals) Quale of Milaca; Troy (Trinette Sohlstrom) Quale of Milaca; and many other family and many dear friends. Scott was preceded in death by his parents Glenn & Betty Quale; son Micheal Scott Quale; and brother Steven Quale.
