1691 Apparently left out of the 1910 census.

In the 1944 Minneapolis city directory, she was Rose V M Dale, an inspector, living at 2826 11th Avenue.

Her obit, for Rose M. Dale, said that she was 79 and lived in Excelsior. She was survived by her brothers Roy of Dalbo and Ayner of Mossyrock, Washington.

1692 Apparently living with Betsy and John Swenson at the time of the 1900 census. Not living with them in the 1905 state census.

In the 1905 state census, she is the 19 year-old Ida Mjoen living in Vineland Twp, Polk County, Minnesota.

She is probably the 24 year-old widow and housekeeper Ida Muen or Muens living with Samson Nesvig in Traill County in the 1910 census. Samson Nesvig’s obit said that he married Ida Mjoen on July 30, 1910.

In the 1920 census, Ida and Samson and family were living in Belmont Twp, Trail County, N.D. with their three children and his two daughters from an earlier marriage. Samson had no occupation. His two daughters from the earlier marriage were listed as servants.

In the 1940 census, she was a 53 year-old widow living in Belmont Twp. Living with her were her daughter Irene and daughter Barbara with Barbara’s husband Walter.

At her death, her “usual residence” was in Buxton, Belmont Twp, North Dakota.

1693 Apparently living with her brother and parents (as 24 year-old Manda) in Climax, Vineland Twp, Polk County in the 1910 census.

Apparently living with her parents (as 30 year-old Manda) at 118 North 5th in Montevideo in the 1920 census.

In the 1930 census, Sven H Lima, 63, and Nanda, 43, live in Scotts Mills in Marion County, Oregon. Sven came to the U.S. in 1881 and was first married in about 1890. Svend has no occupation.

In the 1940 census, she lived with her sister and brother-in-law, Ludvig and Constance Lima, in Montevideo. She was a 54 year-old widow and unable to work.

At the time of her brother Luthard’s death in 1948, she was Mrs. Nanda Lima of Minneapolis.

At her death, her residence was 104 North 5th in Montevideo. She was a widow when she died of a heart attack at the Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital. Her death certificate was signed by L R Lima Jr., M.D.

In the 1940 census, he was the 13 year-old Archie Revander, step-son of Walter and Alice Polzin. He lived in Marinette County, Wisconsin, with his step-father, mother, sister, half-sister, and half-brother.

His mother, Alice, b. ca 1910 in North Dakota, married Albert Ellis Ravander in 1956.

1697 Apparently registered for the draft in Otter Tail County and designated his local board as Richland County, North Dakota. He gave his mother, Jennie Kilde of Parkers Prairie, as his nearest relative. He was described as short and of medium build with blue eyes and light hair.

Living with the Moons in Beltrami County in the 1920 census. Shown as “nephew.” Bertha’s mother and August’s mother were sisters so August married his first cousin.

Living in Hornet Twp, Beltrami County, Minnesota, in the 1930 census.

Died of a cerebral hemorrhage.

1698 Apparently shown in the 1900 census as “Arthur”, a “son” of Ever and Betsy. The census enumerator, Charles Howe, may not have understood the Norwegians’ broken English.

Twelve years old and living at home with her parents and uncle in the 1910 census.

Could not find her in the 1920 census.

May be the Esther Everson, school teacher, living in Arnegard village, MacKenzie County, North Dakota in the 1930 census. Although that Esther is shown as 31, she was born in Minnesota and both of her parents were born in Norway.

She was the Esther Everson who was the teacher at the Rabey School in Ruth Twp, Aitkin County, for the school year 1934-1935.

The 1938-1940 California Voter Registrations showed a Miss Esther Everson, a domestic, registered as a Republican and living at 1014 San Diego Road in Santa Barbara. The 1942-1944 registration list showed her as a maid living at 757 Mission Canyon Road in Santa Barbara.

In the 1940 census, Esther, incorrectly shown as 38 years old, is a lodger with the Phelps family at 1014 Diego Road in Santa Barbara, California. She is an elementary school teacher with a four-year college education. In 1935, she had lived in Rabey in Aitkin County, Minnesota. She had made $675 in 1939.

Died as Esther Everson. Her last residence, according the SSDI, was Rohnert Park, Sonoma County. Her niece Dorothy also lived in Sonoma County.

The U.S. Public Records Index, Vol. 2, shows her as living at 158 Parcque Recrero, Rohnert Park, California.

The California death certificate shows her mother’s name as Odegard.

Her obit said that she graduated from Aitkin High School in 1915 and taught school in the Aitkin area for 21 years. She moved to Santa Barbara in 1939 and worked as an LVN at the Cottage Hospital, retiring in 1975. She lived in Minnesota for 42 years and 46 years in Californa, 39 of which were in Santa Barbara and the other 7 in Rohnert Park.
