According to her obit in the Manitowoc Herald News, and resproduced in Find A Grave, she was “the eldest daughter of A. O. Aubal one of the pioneer white settlers of Manitowoc county and was one of the two first white children born and baptized after the organization of the Lutheran congregations seventy-five years ago. She was the widow of Edwin Thompson who represented the town of Rockland on the county board for a number of years. Nine children survive, also several grandchildren.”
