Erick Ellingboe, 69, Northfield, died Friday, June 3 at the Northfield City Hospital. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Vang Lutheran Church with the Rev. Curtis Snyder officiating. Burial will be in the Vang Church Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Benson-Anderson Funeral Home 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and at the church one hour prior to services on Monday. He is survived by his wife, Doris; a daughter, Mrs. Dale (Karen) Schuette of Northfield; two brothers, Iver Ellingboe of Northfield and Edward Ellingboe of Dennison; and a sister, Mrs. Amanda Egland of Northfield.

Ellingboe Erick Northfield News 08/Jun/1983 Erick Ellingboe, 68, 212 N. Linden, died at the Northfield City Hospital Friday, June 3, 1983. He was born Dec.15, 1914, to Erick and Johanna (Svien) Ellingboe at Dennison. He attended rural Goodhue County schools. He was married to Doris Zimmerman June 14, 1947. He farmed near Dennison before moving to Northfield several years ago. He was a custodian at St. Olaf College for 22 years. He was a member of Vang Lutheran Church and the Northfield Eagles. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Doris; a daughter, Karen Schuette (Mrs. Dale), Northfield; two brothers, Iver Ellingboe, Northfield, and Edward Ellingboe, Dennison; and one sister, Amanda Egland, Northfield. The funeral service was Monday, June 6, at Vang Lutheran Church with the Rev. Curtis C. Schneider officiating. The organist was Helen Midje and the vocalist was Jimmilee Miller. Interment was in the Vang Lutheran Cemetery with full military rites. Pallbearers were Ron Taubman, Arlie Eg- land, Arnold Ellingboe, James Hauge, William Dugan and John Esfeld.
