Visitation will be at the church at 9:30 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at Sunset Cemetery in Montevideo.??He died Friday, Sept. 28, 2007, at the Chippewa Co-Montevideo Hospital.??He was born March 25, 1927, in Dawson, to Louis and Ann (Spletter) Hildahl. ??He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in May 1945 and served in the Pacific on an LST 743, being involved in three island invasions bringing in the Marines.??Survivors include his wife, Joan, of Clarkfield; two step-sons, Brad Ellingboe of Granite Falls and Dean Ellingboe of Montevideo; five step-grandsons; one step-great-granddaughter; two brothers, Marvin of Clarkfield and Rodney of Boyceville, Wis.; sister, Joyce Offerman of Montevideo; and several nieces and nephews.??He was preceded in death by his parents, one step-daughter; one brother and two sisters. | HILDAHL, Howard Allen (I14873)
