In the 1900 census, she is Minnie Herrmier, a chambermaid in the hotel on 3rd Avenue in Hibbing that is owned by Joseph Stuart and Lester Sicard. Her husband-to-be was a boarder at the hotel at that time.
Minnie was the bookkeeper for her husband’s business. The family story is that she wasn’t reluctant to change her husband’s bids if she thought that they were too low.
According to her death certificate, for which Gladys Graham Dietz of Longboat Key, Florida, was the informant, Minnie had been in Hibbing for 65 years. Her usual residence was 1203 East 18th Street. She died of congestive heart failure. | HERRMEYER, Minnie Augusta (I242)

All of the children except Mattie had been born in Wisconsin. Mattie was born in Minnesota.
William and his family are still in Foster Twp, Faribault County, in the 1885 Minnesota state census.
Living in Irwin County, Georgia, in the 1900 census (1388th District). LIving with him and Lydia were Willie, 13, Lee, 10, and Winnie, 7. Lee and Winnie are daughters. Esther Scott (nee Gulbransen) January 7, 1921 - September 4, 2008 Passed away peacefully with family by her side at her home at the Belvedere Care Centre in Coquitlam, the last of 12 siblings born to Peter and Inga Gulbransen. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be forever missed by her three sons: Robert (Angie), Earl (Linda), Gary (Liz); three daughters: Diane (Alain) Girond, Linda (Vern) Scott, and Cindy (Cal) Halasz; 12 grandchildren: Peter Scott, Sherri (Clark) Granger, Alex (Terri) Girond, Cheryl Scott, Kathy (Randy) Houston, Kim (Darryl) Wiebe, Mikal (Robyn) Scott, Lee (Scott) Vandop, Andrea Girond, Brad, Jeff and Kelsey Halasz; and 8 great-grandchildren: Kyle and Stephanie Granger, James and Aimee Girond, Tyler and Ryan Wiebe, Kiera and Hannah Scott.
