However, that Guri was born in August of 1836, the exact day of which was not legible in either copy of the church book. | 15120 | Most probably, and what is assumed here, is that Dorothea’s husband is the person in Jim’s VS called Håvard Engebretsen Ranisæte, b. 1830 in Vestre Slidre, Ranisete 19/1. That Håvard, I34116, was the son of Engebret Engebretsen Ranisæte (b. 1795) and Barbro Pedersdatter Egge (b. 1790). The couple married 13 Nov 1814. In the 1860 census, he and Dora lived in Winneshiek County, Iowa. In the 1880 census, he and his family lived in Freeman Twp, Freeborn County, Minnesota. From the Slidre church book, he is Haaver, b. 8 Aug 1830, bapt. 19 Sep, to Engebret Engebretsen Ranisater and Barbro Pedersdatter. | RANISÆTE, Håvard Engebretsen (I25522)
