Joseph Daniels, a native of Norway, aged 75 years, a resident of Latah county for the past 25 years where he has been engaged in farming in the Blaine section, passed away Wednesday, July 22, at his home surrounded by members of his family, death being due to liver complications, of which he had been an occasional sufferer. The deceased was one of the most respected citizens of his community and since he had been active up to almost the day of his death, his demise was a sudden shock to his many friends. He was a member of the M.E. church. He is survived by a widow and seven children. the children are Mrs. Amelia Gray of Hilliard, Mrs. Ben Eid of Blaine, Miss Winnie Daniels, Dan Albert, Emanuel, and Silas Daniels, all residing at home. The remains were brought to the city on Wednesday, July 22, and the funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Steltz undertaking parlors, Rev. Parry of the Baptist church officiating because of the absence of Rev. Warner of the M.E. church.
