Lois E Mougin, 85 of Altoona Nursing and Rehab returned to the Heavenly Father on May 12th, 2014.
Lois was born on September 8th, 1928 to Arthur and Agnes (Ficker) Hasbrook in Fessenden, North Dakota. She graduated from Drake, North Dakota. Lois worked at Swifts, various restaurants ( as well as owning her own ) and cashier and managed a hotel in Texas. She enjoyed sewing for her children and crafting. She also enjoyed country music especially attending the Grand Ole Opry, cooking, babies and garage sales.
Lois married Thomas B. Kjos on June 6th, 1948 in New Rockford, North Dakota. Together they had 9 children. Following her divorce from Thomas she married Richard T. Mougin.
She is survived by her 8 children: Ordell Kjos Omaha, NE, Craig (Robin) Kjos Fargo, ND, Norris (Becky) Kjos New Rockford, ND Sandi (Lynn) Olund Fargo, ND, Cyndi Borah Detriot Lakes, MN, Candice (Ron) Jarret Newhall, IA, Pamela Preminger, Des Moines, IA and Jeanine Baker Des Moines, IA, sister Delores (Hasbrook) Azure Mahnomen, MN, 22 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.
