Lecey Family Tree
Roger V. Lecey passed away at Lasata Care Center on Wednesday February 27, 2019 at the age of 89.
Born in Evanston, IL on March 16, 1929, he was the son of Roy and Lillian (Nee Paulsen) Lecey.
After attending local schools, he honorably served his nation in the US Army during the Korean War. Roger was united in marriage to Pauline Majkowski at St. Mary’s Church in Evanston, IL on September 12, 1953. He went on to work for 30 years with the City of Evanston as a Fireman.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years Pauline, children Robert (Valeree) Lecey of Cedarburg, Gerald (Barbara) Lecey of Mount Prospect, IL and Kathryn (Paul) Fricke of Grand Rapids, MI, 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, along with other relatives and friends.
In retirement, Roger enjoyed making intricate scale models of World War I aircraft.

Ledin, Patricia "Patsy" age 82 of New Brighton, formerly of Brooklyn Center, passed away April 1, 2018. Beautician for 40 years in Mpls and then worked in the shoe department at Brooklyn Park Walmart. Preceded in death by husband, Virgil and siblings, Duane and Peggy. Survived by children, Brenda (Randy) Dale, Roger (Julie), Brian (Angie), Dewey (Kristi); 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and cat Lulu. Lee Wesley LaDuke, 96, left this world for his Eternal Home on Monday, April 22, 2024. Lee was a resident at Grove Creek Assisted Living in Lindon, Utah. He was born February September 19, 1927 in White Earth, Minnesota to Gabriel LaDuke and Florence Elizabeth (Sommers) LaDuke. He married Rosetta Adeline Peterson on August 6, 1950 in Bemidji, Minnesota.
Lee was a loving and devoted father and husband. He exemplified faith in his Savior Jesus Christ and love for his eternal family. Over the years, Lee and Rose lived in Bemidji and Northern, MN, Hemet, CA, Ratcliff, AR, Turtle River, Bemidji, Glyndon, MN, and Lindon, UT. His hobbies were carpentry woodwork, inventing many things, self-taught artist, family, and travels. He loved learning new things, the scriptures, and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
He is survived by his children Thomas LaDuke (wife Peggy of San Jacinto, CA), Linda Murphy (husband David of Saratoga Springs, UT), Sharon Tiehm (husband Bill of Reno NV), Delores Watts (Salt Lake City, UT), Debbie Pfeiffer (husband Delbert of Clarksville, AR), David LaDuke (Morehead, MN), and Tim LaDuke (wife Jennifer of Chisago, MN), 24 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Rosetta Adeline LaDuke and son Lee Duane LaDuke, mother Florence Elizabeth (Sommers) LaDuke, father Gabriel LaDuke, and brother Dolor LaDuke.
The viewing/service will be held on Wednesday, April 24 from 4:00 to 5:00 at the Serenity Funeral Home, 13863 S 2700 W, Bluffdale, Utah and the Gravesite Burial Service on Thursday, April 25 at 10:00 am at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park Cemetery, 17111 S Redwood Rd, Bluffdale, Utah.
Mother’s maiden name: Summers.
Lee is shown as an American Indian in his World War II enlistment record. He enlisted at Fort Snelling on December 7, 1945. He was shown as having had a grammar school education. He lived in Mahnomen County, Minnesota.
In the 1951 Bemidji city directory, he is Lee W LaDuke, a laborer, living with his wife Rosetta at 524 West 21st. In the 1953 directory, he is a stereotyper for the Bemidji Pioneer Publishing Co. He and Rosetta and family live at 511 West 21st. Same in the 1956 directory. Same in 1958 although now there is also a LaDuke Bros Upholstery in which Lee is in business with his brother Dolar.
