Age 70, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, at her home.

She was born in Madison, the daughter of Oswin and Cora (Lee) Braun. On October 19, 1963, she was united in marriage to John Haugen. He preceded her in death on May 18, 2013.

Caroline was employed with the State of Wisconsin Legislative Reference Bureau for many years until her retirement. She was a member of Vermont Lutheran Church, a past member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church and a member of the Eastern Star Middleton Melody Chapter #150. Caroline enjoyed making and decorating cakes for special occasions such as weddings and birthdays but she truly treasured the time she spent with her family.

In addition to her husband, John, she was preceded in death by her son Peter on April 2, 2000, her parents, and brothers, Marlin(2005), Delbert and Roland Braun.

Age 79, of Eagan, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2014.

He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1952-56. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 110 and worked as an electrician for 54 years. Charlie owned and operated C.C. & S. Electric for 34 years.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Emilie; daughter, Brenda (of Inver Grove Heights); sons, Craig (of West St. Paul) and Scott (of Newport); sister, Marguerite Jorgenson; and sisters-in-law, Joanne and Eileen Ellingboe and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Olaf and Helen and brothers Clarence and Richard.
