1131 According to the index of South Dakota marriages, Kenneth Schuman married Patricia Howie in Grant County on 22 Jan 1962.

Mr. Kenneth Schuman, age 74 of Mountain Home, was born February 11, 1932 in Vallejo, California to Kenneth and Pauline (Strohmeier) Schuman.  He served in the US Military.  Mr. Schuman married Patricia Ellingboe January 20, 1962 in South Dakota.  They enjoyed traveling and living in all parts of the country.  Mr. and Mrs. Schuman  moved to Mountain Home in August of 2003 from Florida.  Mr. Schuman  was a talented singer who sung at the nursing home for everyone’s enjoyment.  He enjoyed race cars, scuba diving and shooting.  He was a member of the Twin Lakes Guns Club, a past member of the Ozarks VFW Post 3246 and the B.P.O. Elks.
 
Mr. Kenneth Schuman is survived by his wife Patricia A. Schuman; daughters:  Anita Marie Einbu and her husband Tim of Duluth, MN and Margo Lynn Howie of St. Paul, MN and two grandchildren:  Leah and Tina; and three brothers:  Lee, Randy and Gary Schuman.
 
A memorial service for Mr. Kenneth Schuman will be 2:00 p.m., Friday at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel.

1135 According to the Kentucky birth records, G B Hatton was born of Wm F Hatton and Elizabeth Hatton on 10 Apr 1876 in Wolfe County. Census sources had indicated Apr 1877.

As Greenbery, he lived with his parents in Holly Creek in the 1910 census. He had no occupation and could neither read nor write.

The Jasperson Family Tree calls him Greenburg Hatton. This source says that he resided in Antioch, Wolfe County, in 1900 and in Holly Creek, Wolfe County, in 1910.

1137 According to the MHS birth index, a different Eliott, Eliott E. Snesrud was born in Rice County on March 15, 1900, to a woman whose maiden name was Rud.

Registered for the draft on September 12, 1918, in Faribault, Rice County, as Elliott Almer Snesrud. He was a mail carrier for the U. S. government and lived with his parents, Theodore Snesrud, at Route 2, Webster, Rice County. He was described as of medium height and build with blue eyes and black hair.

In the 1930 census, Elliot is the head of a household that also contains Arthur, Melvin, and Inga. They are farming in Webster.

1139 According to the MHS Birth Index, a William Richard Erickson was born in Hennepin County on 21 Nov 1926 to a mother whose maiden name was Kruse.

At the time of his mother’s death in June of 1945, he was “in the service.”

In the 1950 census, he and his wife and son lived with his wife’s maternal grandparents in Madison. Charette’s parents lived next door. A year earlier, Charette was living in California. Charette had two years of college.

William and Charette G Erickson lived in Parkersburg, West Virginia, in 1957 according to that city’s directory. He was a chemical engineer for the Marbon Chemical Corporation.

A William R Erickson, b. Nov 1926, lived in Lakeland, Florida, in 1993.

He and Charette lived in St. Paul at the time of his sister’s death in 2001. (This seems unlikely.)

William R. "Bill" Erickson, 82, of Stuart, FL. passed away peacefully on Friday, October 9th, 2009 at Treasure Coast Hospice Residence, in Stuart due to renal failure.

Born in Minneapolis, MN, he has resided in Stuart for the past year and a half moving here from Lakeland, FL. Prior to retiring he was the Owner and Chemical Engineer of Phosphate Engineering and Construction Company, in Lakeland for many years.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was a graduate of The University of Wisconsin.

Bill was a member of AICHE (American Institute of Chemical Engineers).

Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Charette Erickson of Stuart, his son, Mark W. Erickson of Stuart, and his brother, Robert Erickson of Salt Lake City, Utah. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his son, Bruce Erickson.

1140 According to the Minnesota Birth Index, Bernard Ned Crownhart was the father of Phillip Crownhart, b. 26 Jul 1947, in Goodhue County, mother was Anne Marie Transchard, and Bernard John Crownhart, b. 23 Nov 1953, in Hennepin County, mother was Kathleen Marie Tapelt. (That last is the only entry in Ancestry for a Kathleen Tapelt.)

A Bernard N Crownhart, b. 24 Sep 1920, died 23 Apr 1978 and is buried at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. No one is buried with him. That Bernard Crownhart’s last residence was Elmwood in Pierce County, Wisconsin, and his Social Security number had been issued in Minnesota before 1951. That Bernard Crownhart is the only Bernard Crownhart listed in the SSDI.

In the 1948 St. Paul city directory, a Bernard N Crowhart, wife Anna M, is a laborer for the Villaume Box and Lumber Co. and lives at 620 East Central Park.

In the 1930 census, a Bernard N Crownhart, age 9, lived in Eau Galle in Dunn County, Wisconsin. His parents were John R and Mable F Crownhart.
