    Vang C, p. 425-426. Contrast this with the entry on p. 330 of Vang A. Apparently, even to the author of the bygdeboks, there is confusion about whether “Holien” refers to Høle (Holin) 18/ or Hålie 109/.

    In the 1865 Norwegian census, he was husmand med jord on Holien in Vang. The household consisted of Ole Torstensen, b. 1814, Berith Johnsonsdatter, b. 1816, John Olsen, b. 1840, Berith Olsdatter, b. 1849, Anne Olsdatter, b. 1854, Niels Olsen, b. 1858, and Iver Olsen, b. 1860.
