Andris hadde, etter mye strev fått låne penger til å kjøpe Vøvle, som han hadde forpaktet av staten i 24 år, men lensmann Lars Wangensteen Kvam ville ha gården til sin sønn, Lars som var lærer og fikk "overtalt" Andris til ikke å by på den. Andri s døde på Jome i VS hos sin sønn. Det var Andris som kjøpte Jomen 57/7 i 1857.

The translation of this is: Andris had, after much effort, borrowed money to buy Vøvle, which he had leased by the state for 24 years, but sheriff Lars Wangensteen Kvam wanted the farm of his son, Lars who was a teacher and got "persuaded" Andris not to bid on it. Andri's died at Jome in VS with his son. It was Andris who bought Jomen 57/7 in 1857.

Hun og Andris var først på 107/5-8 Ner-Helle som innerster og etter hvert forpaktere. Sokneprest Müller ga Andris forpaktningskontrakt 3.6.1820, for samme årsavgift som formannen hadde hatt, det vil si 7 tønner stritt bygg (utresket) og 7 bismarpu nd godt sommersmør. Det siste skulle leveres i to butter i prestegården den 12.1. hvert år.

The story of Thorstein is a sad one. In his home area, he was considered outstanding both mentally and physically. Somehow he became involved with a costly litigation and he sold his Bunde farm after arranging for a small annuity for Berit and their four children and to have the use of a dwelling on the farm. Thorstein left, possibly to engage in trade at Lillehammer. There he encountered new hardships and died at a young age, at 35, in 1830. Thorstein is buried at Lillehammer.

Berit and Einar lived on the Bonde farm for 14 years before emigrating in March of 1849.
