Sometimes seems to have gone by Nikolai.

Both of his children were living with Sena’s mother and 2nd husband in the 1920 and 1930 censuses.

In the 1940 census, he was living in a hotel in South St. Paul. He had no occupation.

In his draft registration in 1942, he was employed by the South St. Paul Horse Market. He signed his name Nick Olson. He was still living at the Coates Hotel.

In the 1950 census, he was working as a machinist and shown as a lodger with a woman in St. Paul.
