In the 1895 Minnesota census, he and his wife Rangdina, age 28, live in Goodue County with their sons Fred and Carl, ages 4 and 3, and (perhaps his second cousin) Andrew C Lockrem, age 26, store clerk. Andrew K has a dry goods and grocery store.

A newspaper article on his death in the Faribault Journal said that he was a “well known merchant of Dennison,” and that he had died of typhoid pneumonia.

Andrew married Rangdina THORESON on 17 Feb 1891 in Goodhue County, Minnesota. Rangdina (daughter of Finkel Thoreson GRYTE and Randi Olsdatter AASTAD) was born on 20 Sep 1867 in Goodhue County, Minnesota; died on 9 Jan 1959 in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota; was buried in Vang Lutheran Church Cemetery, Dennison, Goodhue County, Minnesota. In the 1905 state census, Dina and her four children lived on College Avenue in Northfield.

From the Faribault Daily News, Jan. 20, 1959:

Funeral services were held at the Vang Lutheran Church Tuesday, January 13, at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Dina Lockrem. The Rev. B. J. Blikstad officiated. Mrs. Cyrus Midje was the organist. Pallbearers were Franklin and Clarence Thoreson, Arnold Ellingboe and Herman Kasa. Committal services were held at the Vang Cemetery in the family lot. Mrs. Lockrem was the former Dina Thoreson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Finkel Thoreson. She was born in this community September 20, 1867; baptized November 24, 1867, and confirmed May 21, 1882. She was married February 17, 1891, to Andrew K. Lockrem. They lived in Northfield for many years and since 1917, in Minneapolis. She passed away January 9, in Minneapolis. She was preceded in death by her husband and one daughter. Surviving are three sons, Fred, Arthur and Carl, all of Minneapolis. There are seven grandchildren, 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Lars Christopherson Løkreim m. 2X Anna Knutsdtr Remme(29-Dec-1823, Vang, Valdres -21-May-1903, Goodhue Co., MN). Apparently no children were born to this union.

Lars (1802), w. Anna (1823), and son Christopher (1830) checked out of Vang parish on March 26, 1857, and immigrated together(May 3, 1857) on the vessel Olaf, first to Decorah, IA, for 3 months, then on to Goodhue Co., MN. With them was Lars's niece Gertrude Endresdtr, who was the daughter of Anne Christophersdtr [Løkreim] (1810 - 1861) (the only living sibling who did not immigrate) and husband Endre Olsen Lien/Dalsødegaarden. Lars's family settled in the Vang settlement in Warsaw Twp. , Goodhue Co., in the rolling hills between the settlements Sogn and Dennison (near Hwys. 56 and 246), not far from where Lars's brothers Iver and Gullick were homesteading in Northfield Twp., Rice Co. Iver Christopherson Lockrem's son Christopher married Gertrude Endresdtr. The Lockrem brothers' sister, widow Gertrude Tviet, also immigrated in 1864 and settled in Warsaw Twp. Lars Lockrem's family was active in the development of Vang Lutheran Church.
