Boline, Dale M. Age 94 of Minnetonka, MN passed away Monday, July 5, 2021. Dale graduated from Central High School where he made many lifelong friends. He joined the US Navy and was in training to become a pilot when WWII ended. He then attended Miami University in Ohio before getting married to Joan Chartier. He was an exemplary son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandpa, and great-grandpa and was deeply loved by everyone who knew him. He was one in a million, and a proud member of the Greatest Generation. He led a very active and engaging life that was full of adventure and laughter, and we were all blessed to have him in our lives. He was adored by each and every one of us, and will be greatly missed by family and friends alike. Dale was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years, Joan (Chartier) Boline, and son-in-law Ron Bermel. He is survived by his children Glen (Kitty), Sue Bermel, Chuck (Ann), David (Polly), Patrick (Erin); grandchildren Ryan (Rachel), Sarah (Balázs), David, Emily, Benjamin (Natosha), Lucas (Annie), Brent, Katie (Dan), Jake, Joshua, Gillian, Aidan; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Jean (Ron) Berg, Jeanette Guzy, and many other family and friends.

Called Carl Albert in the Cambridge church records. His obit said, erroneously, that he came to Minneapolis from Cambridge in 1913.

In the 1910 census, he and his wife and two sons live at 1111 21st Street in south Minneapolis. He is an electrician working for a railway.

In the 1920 census, he and his family live at 2816 39th Avenue in south Minneapolis in a home that they own. Albert is a foreman of “switchboard work.”

He and his family lived at 130 East 38th Street in the mid-1940s.

He lived at 3222 Elliot Avenue at the time that he died. He was an electrical supervisor for Northern States Power where he had worked for 34 years.

Albert married Carrie Maud WEEKLUND on 29 Nov 1906 in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Carrie (daughter of FELDT) was born on 4 Jun 1885 in Idaho; died on 22 Jun 1963 in Hennepin County, Minnesota; was buried in Sunset Memorial Park, Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Her parents were from Dalarna. Some of her siblings took the surname Wicklund.

Her brother Oscar died in Minneapolis in February of 1941.

Her sister Doris Bugbee died in Minneapolis in December of 1953.

In the 1885 census, he was Andrew Bolin, 31, living in Isanti County although the Post Office was St. Francis. His wife was Betsey, 30, and their children were Andrew, 9, Anna, 7, and Charlie, 1.

In the Cambridge First Lutheran Church records, p. 509 of 858, she is the widow Betsy Wallin and her three oldest children are “Bohlin.”

In the 1900 census, she was the widow Betsy Wallin, born in Sweden in August of 1855 and farming in Cambridge Twp. She had had 6 children, 5 still living. She came to the U.S. in 1878.

She was Betsy Wallin when she married Hans Findell.

Nancy E calls her Anna Ersdotter Oja (1826-1863) and says her parentswere Ingeborgs Erik Ersson (1784-1867) and Britta Andersdotter (1784-1862).
