In the 1900 census, he was a furniture merchant in Coeur d’Alene.

In the 1910 census, he was an undertaker.

In a 1914 jury list for Kootenai County, Idaho, he was T E Hedal of Kootenai precinct.

Marit (daughter of Anders Andersen and Berit Sÿversdatter) was born on 2 Feb 1860 in Norway; died on 24 Jan 1932 in Coeur d’Alene, Kootenai County, Idaho; was buried in Forest Cemetery, Coeur d’Alene, Kootenai County, Idaho. Assumed here, but speculatively, is that she is the Marit Andersdatter b. 22 Feb 1858 to Anders Andersen something and Berit Sÿversdatter in Reinli, Sør-Aurdal.

The informant for her death certificate was Ben Hedal.

She died at Lakeside Hospital of a strangulated hernia complicated by influenza. Her usual address was 921 Frost.

In the 1900 census, she is shown as born in February of 1863. She had had five children, all five still alive. Came to the U.S. in 1881.

In the 1910 census, she had had six children, five still living.
