He is I9855 in Jim’s VS.
In the 1880 census, he was a farmer in Bridgewater Twp, Rice County, Minnesota. The household consisted of Andrew Grove, 39, Jennie, 35, Andrew, 12, Oly, 10, Thomas, 8, Sarah, 6, Emily, 4, and Mary, 1. The youngest child had been born in Minnesota, the others were born in Norway.
In the 1900 census (mis-indexed and mistakenly written Adrew Grove), he lives in Northfield and is a day laborer. Emma, Minnie, Lewis, and John still live at home with their parents.
