    Notes:

    He is probably the Adam Ivers of Hancock County, Ohio, in the 1840 census. That household had three people: a person under the age of 20 and two people age 20-49.

    In the 1850 census, he and his family lived in Salem Twp, Delaware County, Indiana. The household consists of Adam, 37, Zela, 31, William, 12, Robert, 7, Thomas, 5, John, 3, and Andrew, 1.

    Several family trees in Ancestry.com erroneously show him as dying in 1864.

    In the 1870 census, he was a farmer in Lancaster County, Nebraska.

    He, 64, and Zela, 62, still lived in Lancaster County, Nebraska, in the 1880 census. Their 16 year-old daughter Jennie still lived with them. (Their youngest daughter in the 1870 census was the then-eight-years-old Alice V.)
