The household consists of Albert, 27, Dora, 24, Geraldine, 5 and 4 months, Daisy, 4 and some months, Edward, 2 and some months, and Randolf, 0 and some months. Albert and Dora had been married for 8 years.

    In the 1940 census, he is probably the Albert Craddock who is a lodger with the Clyde Sheperd family in Louisville (Clyde’s wife is Albert’s wife’s sister). Albert is married. He works as a die setter in the sporting goods industry and earned either $300 or $1300 in 1939.

    Albert and Dora’s address is shown as 526 N. 18th Street in her death certificate.

    In the 1940 census (indexed as Dan Croddock), he and Laura and their three youngest children lived in Hart County. Dan was a farmer and owned his farm but it was not the same as where the family had lived five years earlier.

    According to Find A Grave, Dan married the widow Lizzie Belle Logsdon in the 1950s. He was married at the time of his death in 1961.

    According to his death certificate, he died from a cerebral hemorrhage. The informant for the information on his death certificate was his daughter, Audrey.
