In the 1930 census, Albert is living in Louisville at 524 18th Street with his wife Dora and their family. Albert is a laborer in the tire industry. The household consists of Albert, 27, Dora, 24, Geraldine, 5 and 4 months, Daisy, 4 and some months, Edward, 2 and some months, and Randolf, 0 and some months. Albert and Dora had been married for 8 years.

In the 1940 census, he is probably the Albert Craddock who is a lodger with the Clyde Sheperd family in Louisville (Clyde’s wife is Albert’s wife’s sister). Albert is married. He works as a die setter in the sporting goods industry and earned either $300 or $1300 in 1939.

Albert and Dora’s address is shown as 526 N. 18th Street in her death certificate.

His burial record, and his gravestone, refer to him as the Reverend Albert Brown Craddock.

According to the 1930 census, she was 16 and Albert was 19 when they were married.

She died of acute pelvic inflamation and acute appendicitis during an appendectomy operation at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

In the 1900 census, he and his family lived in the Priceville precinct of Hart County, Kentucky. The household consists of Dan M., b. Oct 1874, Lonsy B., b. Jan 1880, Hansen B., b. Jun 1897, Roy W., b. Nov 1898, and Mary G., b. May 1900.

In that 1900 census, there was another Craddock household nearby headed by Jessie Craddock, a single man, b. Apr 1854. Other members of the household were James B., father, b. Sep 1819, Sara, mother, b. Feb 1823, and Charles W., brother, b. Aug 1867. Charles was a widow. James and Sara had been married 59 years and Sara had had 12 children, 8 still living. Everyone and their parents had been born in Kentucky with the exception that Sara’s mother was born in South Carolina.

In the 1910 census, he and his family live in the Priceville area of Hart County, Kentucky. The household consists of Dan M, 34 (last name entered in census as “Craddik”),Luerel B, 30, Bergen, 12, Runy W, 11, Mary, 10, Glenda, 8, Albert B, 7, James W, 5, Seaver E, 4, and Zelinda M, 1. Everyone was born in Kentucky. Dan is a farmer.

In the 1920 census, Dan M., 44, and Laura B., 40, own their farm in the Priceville precinct of Hart County. Living with them are their children and extended family: Albert B., 17 and single, Jim W., 15, Lena, 13, Zelma, 11, Orna, 10, Mamie, 7 and 2 months, Williard, 5 and 5 months, Marshall, 4, Ernest, 1 and 2 months, Harvey B., 22 and married, Opal, daughter-in-law, age 16, Oscar, “son”, 22 and married, Mary G., daughter, 19, married, and Hurshell, 4 months, grandson. Dan owns his farm free of mortgage.

Nearby in the 1920 census is Charles W. Craddock, also a farmer, also owns his own farm free of mortgage. He is 52, his wife Florence M. is 36, and son Smith G., is 12. Other Craddocks (Robert W., Jeff, and Carlos B.) also live nearby.

In the 1930 census, Dan and Laura and family are shown as living on their farm in the Blandville precinct of Hart County. Living with them are their single children: Zelm M., 21, Orna, 19, Mamie, 17, Damand W., 15, Marshall D., 14, Ernest M., 11, Audrey M., 9 and some months, and Viola, 7 and some months.

In the 1940 census (indexed as Dan Croddock), he and Laura and their three youngest children lived in Hart County. Dan was a farmer and owned his farm but it was not the same as where the family had lived five years earlier.

According to Find A Grave, Dan married the widow Lizzie Belle Logsdon in the 1950s. He was married at the time of his death in 1961.

According to his death certificate, he died from a cerebral hemorrhage. The informant for the information on his death certificate was his daughter, Audrey.

Dan married Laura Belle JAGGERS about 1897. Laura (daughter of James M JAGGERS and Viana SANDERS) was born on 31 Jan 1880 in Hart County, Kentucky; died on 17 Dec 1945 in Princeville, Hart County, Kentucky; was buried in Cub Run, Hart County, Kentucky. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

In the 1910 census, she had had 8 children, all still living. She and Dan had been married for 14 years.

She died from an “organic heart lesion.” The informant for the information on her death certificate was her son Roy Craddock of Chicago.

The Charlie E Sego who died in Grayson County in 1949 was married and was born 8 Dec 1868 to the Rev. G.B. Sego and Sallie Ann Jaggers. The informant for the information on his death certificate was Oliver Sego. Charlie died from cardiovascular disease.

Dora’s mother is called Anna Clemmonts in Dora’s death certificate. There were Clemons families living near Charlie and Georgia in the 1910 census.

In that 1910 census, she is shown as having had 14 children, 12 still living.

May be the 87 year-old “George” Sego who died in Grayson County on 16 Oct 1955.

He and Cordelia had at least 12 children, of which the oldest was Victoria born in February of 1869 and the youngest was Elizabeth born in May of 1892.

Robert married Cordelia Ann CARBY on 19 Apr 1868 in Hart County, Kentucky. Cordelia (daughter of Hardin CARBY and Mary) was born on 15 Oct 1845 in Grayson County, Kentucky; died on 19 Jul 1935 in Hart County, Kentucky; was buried in Board Cemetery, Priceville, Hart County, Kentucky. Cordelia married Robert Willis Craddock on 19 Apr 1868 in Grayson County, Kentucky. Together they had 11 children as follows: Victoria A Craddock, Mr. Albert S Craddock, Mr. Exra W Craddock, Ida F Craddock, Mr. Dan M Craddock, Mr. James W Craddock, Sara A Craddock, Adie H Craddock, Mr. Carlos B Craddock, Mr. Jeff F Craddock, and Lizzie L Craddock.

She has two entries in Find A Grave. One has her buried in Board Cemetery, Priceville. The other has her buried in the Craddock Cemetery with her husband. The photograph of Robert Willis’s gravestone shows the Cordelia was intended to be buried with her husband but no death date was filled in.

She was called Dee Corby in the death certificate for her son Dan.
