Isabel Markuson, age 18, died Wednesday following an illness of tuberculosis of several years duration. She was the daughter of Mrs. Carl Markusen. Her father died as recent as March 7, 1929. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 at Christiania Lutheran Free Church with Rev B. L. Sundal officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Isabel was baptized at the Christiania Church with the given name of Olga Isebel Markusen. Her baptismal sponsors were Alma Markusen and Alf Gilbertson. Isebel was born January 5, 1911 and passed away on June 19th, 1929. She is survived by her mother, Ragna (Gunderson); two brothers, Hogan and Martin; five sisters, Marie, Amelia, Bertha, Clara and Viola. Isebel's father was Karl Markusen, who preceded her in death.
