She was born in Brooklyn, Iowa on January 30, 1926 to Marian and Robert Crawford. On August 14, 1943, she was married to Clifford H Jacobson in Spring Grove, Minnesota. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary this past year.
Marjolaine was formerly employed by the La Crosse YWCA as a swim instructor, life guard, and receptionist. She has also been a member of St Paul's Lutheran Church since 1949.
Marjolaine is survived by her husband, Clifford, and by five children, Cheryle (Doug Wenum) Valiquette, Steve Jacobson, Angela (Jeff) Bluske, Christine Valentine, and Susan (Michael) Dobratz. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Marcy Jacobson LeMagne, and by one infant daughter, Katherine Mary Jacobson. Also preceded in death by her mother, Marian M Rosson, and by one brother, Robert Crawford.
