Her mother is shown as born in Minneapolis. In the 1939/40 Fergus Falls city directory, she is Mrs. Hildred who rooms at 324 Cascade North. She is a waiter for L. O. Larsen. In the 1940 census, she is Hildrud Torvik, a 36 year-old divorcee lodging with a family in Fergus Falls. She is a waitress in a cafe. In the 1941/42 Fergus Falls city directory, she is Mrs. Hildred Torvik, a waitress, and rooms at 316 Broadway. Her mother’s maiden name was Nesvold on her death certificate and Orstad on her birth certificate. She died as the widow of Walter Weise. Harriett Johnson of 1421 S. Maybelle in Fergus Falls was the informant for her death certificate. Hildred had been an apartment building manager. She lived at 824 S. Sheridan. She died of pneumonia.
