His gravestone, according to the photo in Find A Grave, has his wife as Catherine Benson 1878-1958. His obit in the Tribune on 27 April said that he was 85 years old and lived at 310 W. 50th Street. He would be buried in Oak Hill. He was a retired painting and decorating contractor and had been a Minneapolis resident for 80 years. He was survived by a daughter, Mrs. Murray N. Nelson of Minneapolis.
